Why should I put forth my best effort on the Star 360 Tests?
- Provides feedback that can be used to monitor student growth throughout the year, to estimate students’ understanding of state standards, and predict students’ performance on the state test
- STAR can help teachers determine appropriate instructional levels and skills that students are ready to learn
- Failure to put forth effort while taking the test may result in a student having to re-take the test or be monitored on a more regular basis
