Discuss 21st Century Skills -
We will be taking a new approach to the Grammar Lessons. This approach will be student-centered instruction with a strong focus on 21st Century Learning Skills.
Critical Thinker - Students will complete the work with the life-long, employable task of "figuring it out." This can be done through a variety of mediums: internet, peer-coaching, questioning of the teacher, etc...
Communicator - Students will have to learn what to ask in order to receive help. "I don't know what to do" is not a question.
Collaborator - Students will be divided into smaller study groups in which they will be able to work with the teacher and other members.
Creator - Through this method, the students will become responsible for their own learning. It will foster a higher level of retention of the material.
